Yoga Therapy

“ The success of yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures, but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.”
Yoga Therapy is a unique approach to health that utilises the ancient science of yoga to treat individuals in personalised sessions and bespoke practices. The therapeutic approach of Yoga Therapy aims to empower the individual with simple tools they can use on a daily basis at home, to improve their sense of well being.

Science of Yoga
Yoga therapy integrates thousands of years of yogic knowledge - physical postures, breathing practices, meditation, yoga nidra and relaxation techniques.
Trained professionals
Certified yoga therapists have specialised training to assess and adapt yoga practices safely and effectively for therapeutic purposes.
How can yoga therapy help?
Yoga therapy can offer support in dealing with many short term, and chronic conditions.
‘Healing is not about fixing the body. It’s about coming into a right relationship with it’ — Donna Farhi
Yoga therapy is a complementary health approach that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. It works well as part of a coordinated care team, alongside physiotherapy, psychotherapy, or nutrition counselling. Yoga Therapists can adjust sessions based on the physician’s or psychologist’s clinical observations and goals.
‘Therapeutic yoga is not about fixing people - it’s about creating the conditions for deep self-healing.’ — Uma Dinsmore-Tuli
